Agios Theodoros Cathedral

This cathedral, in the south-east corner of Old Town, is a useful landmark.

Agora Hani Mural

An alley leads to a charming courtyard, with a mural at one end and a restaurant at the other.

Alexandrou Carpark

A small car park, right next to the main one. You can get a good view of the "(But) left hand knows" mural from here.

Alexsi Mural

An abstract piece from local artist AlexsiDesign.

Aphrodite's Children

Aphrodite's Children was painted in 2016 by BillyG, Alex Martinez and Lune82, as part of the Annual Street Art Square Festival.

Barber

This mural is called "Barber". I originally thought it was a novel advert for a near-by Barber's, but there are none that I am aware of. I couldn't find any information about it at all online.

Bear in the Air

What is art? An age-old question. What appears to have been a random placement of items in a storeroom has turned into an exhibit. Whether by accident or design, Bear in the Air is an urban art installation waiting to be viewed by the more adventurous explorers of Old Town, or those people waiting for their Greek course to start in the rooms below...

(But) left hand knows

This somewhat enigmatic mural is best viewed from a distance. It was painted for StreetArt Square 2017 by Mattia Campo dall'Orto.

Carpark Toilets

These toilets won't win any awards, but they are functional and kept relatively clean. There are no disabled facilities though the cubicles themselves are quite large.

These catacombs are thought to be old tombs dating back to Roman times, though very little information is known about them.

Ethnographical Museum

The Enthnographical Museum of Paphos gives you a glimpse as to what life was like in Cyprus in years gone by. Nestled in the heart of Old Town Pafos, it is open all year round.

The Green Living Wall

The Green Living Wall, at one of the entrances to the Indoor Market, was created by Landscape and Garden Designer Thanasis Evripou. Over 200 hardy plants provide a welcome splash of colour to the area, which is now understandably very popular with tourists.

High Carpark

This carpark is nestled in a more residential part of Old Town.

Ibrahim's Khan

Ibrahim’s Khan is in the heart of the old town and is newly renovated. Historically, the ancient building was used as an inn and an area where merchants and craftsmen would come together. It now houses several Artisan units and a theatre.

Ibrahim's Bugs

In this corner of Ibrahim's Khan there stands a round table, called The Table of Unification. Behind it, an assortment of spiders adorn the walls.

Indoor Market

At the Indoor Market you can buy handmake art and crafts, jewellery and accesories, clothing, beauty products, leather goods and an assortment of other items. In summer the market provides a blessed relief from the hot sun. Open six days a week, from 9AM - 2PM excluding sundays.

Ivis Maliotou Park Lookout

Ivis Maliotou Park is a criminally underused area in Old Pafos. It is an area of tranquility, where you can take a break from the noise of the city, sit on a bench and watch the world go by.

Kato Pafos View

This viewpoint is great for soaking in Kato Pafos. And once you have enjoyed the view, why not pop in to Muse for some refreshments?

Kennedy Square Fountain

Kennedy Square Fountain is a welcome addition to the Old Town Scene. At night it is illuminated by floodlights, and is a spectacle to be experienced.

Kennedy Square Carpark

A convenient car park, but can get rather full.

"A Day In Kyrenia"

By the children of Paphos. An artwork from the bi-communal project "Common Ground", created in Paphos, using the stones, earth and drawings from the children of Kyrenia.

Lantern Lane

We have no idea who put all these lanterns here but they certainly make the road look very special.There are some lovely places to eat around here as well.

Markideio Carpark

This is a large carpark which is less used than the others. However, you can easily access the rest of Old Town from here, so it is worth knowing about.

Markideio Carpark Toilets

These toilets are conveniently places near the theatre.

Markideio Theatre

Newly renovated in 2015, Markideio Theatre has been transformed into a modern venue. There is a large carpark next to the theatre, and on leaving your car you walk through a newly planted green area to the theatre itself.

Moutallos Mosque

At Moutallos Mosque you will find another art installation from Peace2Peace. There are lots of little crochets on the fence.

Moutallos Mosque Carpark

This is probably the least-used carpark in Old Town, so if you can't find a spot elsewhere, head here.

Muflon

Muflon, by Harris Christoforou, for Street Art 2016.

Nounou

NOYNOY is a household name in Greek and Cyprus, and is a Greek dairy brand. Painted by Charis Christoforou, this mural wasn't part of any of the Street Art Square festivals.

Dream Catchers

The Peace2peace crochet installation of Dream Catchers at Ibrahim's Khan is a real eye-turner.

Pumpkin Hands

A cheerful statue in the centre of a square. No sign to tell us what it is. Just art for art's sake.

Pygmalion and Galatea

Pygmalion and Galatea, is a work by FIKOS for the Street Art Square Festival 2016

'READY' - Millo. Painted as part of Street Art Square Festival 2017, for Pafos2017.

Refugee Angel

"Refugee Angel" by Batu Gundal. Part of Street Art Square 2016. Unfortunately the building has been demolished, and the mural is no more.

Selfish

"Selfish" is a collaboration between three artists: Alex Martinez, BillyGee and Lune82. It was part of the Street Art Square 2017 Festival.

Changing But Still The Same

"Changing but still the same" is a mural by Dimitris Taxis, for Street Art Square Festival 2017.

Tree of Peace

The Tree of Peace is an open air Art Installation put together by Peace2Peace. The aim is to help foster friendship and understanding between the two communities.

Turkish Baths

These Turkish Baths have been renovated, and if you are lucky enough to find them open, you can walk around inside. Most of the time they appear to be locked though.

Tyre Shop Mural

This was painted in 2016, as an advert for the tyre shop it is next to.

Usugrow

Usugrow Hasadhu for StreetArt Square fest 2017, a piece of Japanese art in the town center of Pafos.

Viewpoint

A nice viewpoint looking out towards Tomb of the Kings and the Port.

Waveform

Waveform, by Bane and Pest, is a stunning piece of work created for Street Art Square 2017. You have to look up to see this work!
